BRANDON'S BLURBS #1

If there is one thing I noticed with this blog is it's lack of rants, stories and comedy writing. There is nothing wrong with pictures, but I know we can do a whole lot more because we have far too much time on our hands.

The problem is with writing blogs and bullshit like that, for me at least, is the fact that I'm introverted, emotionally unstable and a genuinely strange person. I stay reserved and keep to myself a lot, which is ironic considering I agreed to star in a reality show on television. I think it's about time to start letting loose and prevent all of these thoughts from piling up in my head like shit in an outhouse.

I still feel like a noob living in the city of Toronto because I don't get out enough. Mainly because of a lack of funds. I have managed to keep myself entertained from the variety of entertaining public spectacles and I'm not talking about parades or buskers.

STRANGERS YELLING AT STRANGERS
Not too long ago I was taking the subway home from work by myself. It was pretty late so the subway car was at about half capacity. All I had to myself was an ipod and an advertisement I read over and over again. Suddenly all I can hear is a loud voice yelling from behind me. I didn't want to turn around and look, but I did want to listen so I took off one of my headphones. "There is a serial killer on the loose! Everybody listen!". I can't see who is yelling at all of these people but I know he isn't the most stable person. But man oh man it was hilarious. He continued yelling until we reached our next stop to let even more people in the subway car. Now, with more of an audience, he begins yelling even more. "This man is dangerous! He is tall with blonde hair and a crazy look in his eye! He is running lose and stabbing people.". I am really intrigued to turn around and get a good look at this insane man and I do so at our next stop. I got off at that stop even though it wasn't mine. Mainly because I didn't want to be stabbed by the insane, tall blonde man yelling at complete strangers on the subway.

35mm to Ohio

I went to Ohio last weekend to film some more for Andrew's web edit, which is coming soon. I also brought along the ol' SLR with some film that had been sitting in my backpack for the past year and a half, hear are some of my favorite exposures. (no name brand 400 ISO)
